Back at home, Michaela Daniels took win number 4 of the season in the 3rd round of the Summer Cup with 42 points, capping a remarkable 6 weeks or so, when Michaela's handicap has fell from 26 to 19 and is still going. Paul Daniels was 2nd with 39, with Gene Alan taking 3rd with 36 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Michaela, Jamie Barrett and Mick Bradley, with no winner on 18 and no 2s on the day.
The B-Team travelled to Millfield, knowing home advantage was strong at their opponents' track. Unfortunately, they were on the wrong end of a 4&1/2 to 1&1/2 scoreline and return home for a fixture against Holme Hall on Saturday. The first tee is at 10:30 for those interested in coming to watch.
